Rar is simlar to Zip, except that it makes smaller archives. With a rar file, you can put all of your shops data, including photos, in to a single compressed file, and upload that to the FTP site.
WinRar Instructions
1) Download WinRAR from the link above, and install it.2) Run the file linked to above to change the default settings in WinRAR to their best. You only need to do this once unless you change the defaults in the program.
3) Go to Windows Explorer and find the folder with all of your reports and photos. Right click on it, and select "Add to Archive..." which will open the WinRAR program.
4) Type in the name you would like to call your rar archive and click OK. This will start the compression, which may take a while.
5) Log in to the FTP site using the link above and the username and password given to you. Drag your new RAR file in to the FTP window to upload it. You'll see a status window pop up so you know how far along you are.
6) Call EEI to report that you have uploaded your reports.
